I've updated the bios to A25 check that's not the issue. Power options in the windows settings are high performance so that's not the issue either.

WebOct 16, 2024 · obviously there is a problem that the cpu speed is slowed down to 0.4 GHz because of the temperature of the surface dock. It is a bug, the protection system of the surface is acting wrong. With my docking station sometimes the cpu speed goes back to normal twenty minutes after disconnecting the external display from the dock. WebMost likely it's thermal throttling because the tempurature is too high for the CPU.
