The Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLCPA) is a plan signed into law on July 18, 2024 to address climate change and reach net zero emissions in New York State. The Act sets the goals to reduce emissions to 40% below 1990 levels by 2030 and then to 85% below 1990 levels by 2050.
