You can search the forum on how to test the fan with a newspaper or something pliable and see if you can easily stop the fan from spinning. The car came with the original FC and never been replaced. Webb14 juni 2024 · I recently replaced the thermostatic fan clutch. It's not engaging and we're into three digit temperatures. I checked a few things. No wobbly clutch. No viscous oil leak There is some tension when hand turning fan. Would a bad coolant temp sensor affect a thermostatic clutch? I thought it would only affect an electric radiator fan.
